Electric
chimneys are one of the most important kitchen appliances in present times.
With the size of the kitchen becoming smaller in the small and cramped
apartments in urban spaces, the electric chimney, an appliance which sucks out
the smoke, oil and fumes from the kitchen post the cooking process, has become
essential to keep the kitchen clean and odour-free. Electric chimneys are
available in two types on the basis of their external design – straight line
chimneys and designer chimneys. Straight line chimneys are different for the
fact that they do not have a ‘designer’ hood as part of the construction and
hence designed for practical functionality.
